Save the Date for the 13th Annual GoodGiving Challenge

November 14, 2023

Early Giving opens on November 14!

Get ready for Central and Appalachia Kentucky’s biggest giving event! The GoodGiving Challenge, an online fundraiser for 195 local nonprofits, kicks off on Giving Tuesday, November 28 at 9 a.m., and goes until midnight on Friday, December 1. For the first time, donors who are unable to give during the GoodGiving Challenge can give early, starting on November 14 at 9 a.m.

Launching annually on Giving Tuesday, the GoodGiving Challenge was founded by Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing to raise funds for, and draw attention to, the critical work of local nonprofits. The GoodGiving Challenge has raised nearly $20 million for hundreds of local charitable causes since its inception in 2011. Last year, generous donors across Kentucky, 48 states, and the District of Columbia, gave $2.5 million to hardworking nonprofits in the Bluegrass and Appalachia region.

The 2023 GoodGiving Challenge offers more than $750,000 in matches and prizes this year (a record-breaking amount!) thanks to our generous sponsors:
