Ideas for Community Impact

Blue Grass Community Foundation maintains a limited pool of discretionary funds to help address community needs and opportunities across our region.

While there is no open call for proposals at this time, we know that some of the best ideas come from the people and organizations working closest to those needs. While discretionary funding is limited, we welcome the opportunity to learn about projects, initiatives, and emerging challenges that align with one or more of our funding priorities:

• Green Spaces and Public Places
• Healthy Neighborhoods
• Arts and Culture
• Education

Organizations may submit an Ideas for Community Impact (ICI) Form to share a project, initiative, or community need with BGCF. The ICI Form is an opportunity to introduce your idea and help us determine whether it may align with available funding.

Please note: The ICI Form is not a grant application. Submission does not guarantee funding, an invitation to submit a full proposal, or further consideration.

If we identify potential alignment with our funding priorities and available discretionary funds, we may invite you to submit a full proposal and additional information for consideration.

Even when funding is not available, ICI submissions help us stay informed about community needs, emerging challenges, and innovative solutions throughout the communities we serve.
