Harrison County

The Harrison County Community Fund is a permanent charitable resource that supports local causes and organizations.  

A local advisory board puts donations of all sizes to good use by making grants to meet the needs and vision of the community. They partner with individuals, businesses and nonprofits to make Harrison County a better place to live, learn, work and play. 

Because of generous community support, the Harrison County Community Fund has helped bring meaningful projects to life, including:

• The Harrison County Memorial Hospital C-Section Suite
• Supported the 2026 Downtown Incentives Grant program
• Updated the refrigeration system at Hope’s Helping Hands Food Bank
• Committed $10,000 to support local efforts during the 2025 SNAP food crisis
• Kids Town Playground Renovation
• Splash Pad Challenge Grant
• Downtown Pocket Park
• Lighting at Veterans Run Park Walking Path
• Outfield Fence for New Softball Fields
• HC Dolly Parton Imagination Library
• Local art mural installations and preservations, including the Walking Dead Mural
• Annual support of local organizations participating in Bluegrass Gives
• And so much more!

Each project reflects a shared commitment to making Harrison County stronger, more vibrant, and more connected.

Why I Give to My Community Fund
