Private foundations may make their 5% qualifying distribution each year to a fund at BGCF. They can also make grants at the convenience of the private foundation rather than when dictated by the IRS. Alternatively, the private foundation can transfer all or part of it assets to BGCF. The original donor's identity and goals are preserved, and the donor or other designees can participate as fund advisors. In addition, BGCF handles all administrative, management and reporting obligations.
